Welcome to International Conversations. The hope and goal of this site is to provide an opportunity for people around the globe to learn from others and also to inform others as together we engage in conversation and reflect theologically, providing biblical perspectives on the important issues of our time.
Whether you reside in Africa, Asia, the Americas, Europe, or anywhere else in the world, we welcome your participation. Understanding a variety of cultural perspectives will help us to distinguish between Scriptural truth and cultural norms. Our conversations will address a wide range of issues and topics, including postmodernism, war, worship, Christian leadership, unity in the church, women in ministry, and priorities for the church in the 21st Century.
International Conversations will feature contributions from scholars, church leaders, teachers and other men and women from the global Christian community who will share their insights on the complex issues facing the Christian church around the world. This site will also feature articles from theology students, who will explore various areas of interest, including systematic theology, missiology and philosophy.
We hope through this site to stimulate not only theological reflection but also more responsible and thoughtful action on the part of the church as a whole and of individual Christians. We’ve named it International Conversations because we want it be interactive. So please share your articles with the larger Christian community. And respond to the articles that appear on this site.
I hope that International Conversations will be a valuable resource through which you can gain information and perspective on the crucial issues of our time. Most importantly, I hope you will join the conversation.
I also want to make available a link that I believe will be a great resource for students of the bible, clergy, and scholars. Feel free to access this site: http://daniel.eastern.edu/seminary/tmcdaniel Thomas McDaniel, Professor Emeritus at Palmer Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, has kindly made this site available to our International Conversation community.
